Classes open to the public for all skill levels, with flexible studio times and pricing.

Monday to Saturday 11 am to 6 pm
Sundays 12 pm to 4 pm

Beginner Wheel Throwing
This class is for the beginner in wheel-throwing and focuses on basic methods of centering clay and throwing simple forms such as cylinders and small bowls. Students will use a variety of glazes to produce finished works of art.
- Tuition is $210 per student.
- Each class is 2.5 hours per week for 7 consecutive weeks.
- Includes 25 pounds of clay.
- Includes open-studio time.
- 6:1 Teacher Student ratio
Beginner Class Available:
- January 30th through March 17th, 2012.
Class Choices:
Advance Beginner Wheel Throwing
This class reviews basic methods of wheel throwing, then expands on the techniques and skills learned in the Beginner to Wheel Throwing class. Students are introduced to new forms and techniques of wheel throwing.
- Tuition is $210 per student.
- Each class is 2.5 hours per week for 7 consecutive weeks.
- Includes starter clay.
- Includes open-studio time.
Intermediate Wheel Throwing
In this class, students are introduced to more advance wheel throwing techniques, such as lidded pieces, composite work, and sets.
- Tuition is $210 per student.
- Each class is 2.5 hours per week for 7 consecutive weeks.

- Includes open-studio time.
Advanced Wheel Throwing
In this class, students are introduced to more advance wheel throwing techniques, such as lidded pieces, composite work, and sets.
Advanced Class Available:
Tile Making
This class will introduced students to making 4 inch and 6 inch square tiles. After the tiles are made, this class becomes all about the individual. Here you are free to experiment with impression stamps, engravings, and a variety of glazing techniques to personalize your work.
- Tuition is $180 per student.
- 3 sessions with flexible scheduling.
- 2 hours per session.
- Includes starter clay.
- Includes open-studio time.
Children Classes
Youth Workshops, After School Program & Home School Program.
Pre-Teen: Ages 8-12 years
Teen: Ages 13-18 years
- Tuition is $160 per student.
- All Materials Included!
- 1 day per week for 4 consecutive weeks.
- Each class is 90 min.
- Group discounts are available.
- Flexible program times.
Summer Fling
Summer program available!
- Tuition is $180 per student.
- Each class is 2.5 hours per week for 4 consecutive weeks.
- Includes starter clay.
- Includes open-studio time.
Summer Fling Class Available:
- June 4th through July 1st.
- August 1st through August 27th.

Private Instruction
One on one instruction is offered as well, here at the Generous Earth Pottery Studio.
- Tuition is $30/hour per person.
- Includes a variety of glazes and all firings, but not the clay. Clay is $1/pound (minimum of 6.5 pound purchase is required with this instruction).
Two Person Special
Two on one instruction is offered at a discounted rate (as compared to the Private Wheel Instruction class), here at the Generous Earth Pottery Studio.
- Tuition is $45 per hour for two people.
- Includes a variety of glazes and all firings, but not the clay. Clay is $1/pound (minimum of 6.5 pound purchase is required with this instruction).
